So we all know about the Wii U, its massive library of games, and the options we have for storage. I'm going to buy myself a 1TB hard drive to store all my Wii U data as I plan on building a huuuuuuge library of Wii U downloaded games, VC downloads, and even (gasp) GameCube-era games. Some of the GameCube games allow linking to a related GBA game. Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life is one of them. The companion game, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, is available on the Wii U Virtual Console, and I bought it. If someday I were to have actual hard copies of both A Wonderful Life and Friends of Mineral Town, and I was storing my games on that terabyte drive, could I hook up the terabyte drive to my laptop, locate the Friends of Mineral Town save, extract it and copy it to the actual FoMT GBA cartridge to allow connectivity between FoMT and AWL?

Wii U updated now won't read games
I got a new Wii u from Amazon today ( the delux set with super mario 3D world ), I set up everything and followed all of the instructions given on the gamepad then put in a game to update the system like the instructions said. The first time I put in the game its icon / logo came up on the gamepad so I'm asuming it was able to read it then. But after the update was complete and the system reset it is now telling me that I have an 'invalid disc'. I tried to see if there was another system update that I needed but there is none in the settings.I tried it with 3 different games, 2 that came with the Wii u and one that I bought ( splatoon ) and all of them are ' invalid disc '
No, there are no smudges or scratches on any of the discs
No, there are no system updates avalible ( the current version it is running as is 5.4.0 U )
Yes, I tried cleaning all of the disks
Yes, I am putting the discs in the right way
Yes, I tried turning it off and then turning it back on
Yes, the system and games are all from this reigon
Is there something simple that I'm missing here or is there a problem with my system? I really don't want to have to get a new system considering I just bought this.

USB Speakers
I just move my Wii U to my room and connected it to my know monitor, but now since my Monitor doesn't have built in Speakers the Wii U Console doesn't have sound. I tried plugging in a USB Speaker but that didn't work. Is there a way to use some type of speakers or something?

Wii U won't play Just Dance Kids 2014
Recently our (seldom used) Wii U stopped recognizing the Just Dance Kids 2014 disc. I sent it back to Ubisoft, complained, complained, complained, and even though my disc was in pristine condition they finally agreed to send me a brand new one just so I would leave them alone. Well, you guessed it....the new one doesn't work either but all of my kids' other games (scratched up and all) still play fine. I just don't get it. Even a complete system update to the Wii U console did not fix the issue. The Nintendo online support just sends me in circles trying to figure out how to get this console repaired. Any advice would be appreciated. I can't figure out how to open a repair ticket.

Wii U cannot connect to Internet Error:103-1601
Hi,
I have looked on many forums but still cannot find someone with a solution that works for me. I've had my console for about 2 years and this is just happening for the first time. I cannot connect to the internet unless I use a mobile hotspot which I'd rather not use because it is very costly and slow. I have tried three different routers and have tried manually entering the ip and other information but still have not had any luck. I've seen the solution where you leave the wii u unplugged for a while and after that it may work, but I was just wondering if there were any other solutions or if I just have to send it into nintendo to be fixed, which would be a last resort.

Miiverse admin notification problem
I was on miiverse the other and refreshed my page only to find a message saying I was currently restricted from using miiverse on the screen. I then looked at my notifications and all it said was that my post had got removed for sexually explicit content but there was no notification whatsoever saying that I had been banned or for how long I would be banned even though it was obvious I had been banned because I couldn't post,yeah,or anything. It has been one day now and I haven't got any notification telling me how long I will be banned or an notif stating I got banned at all. Does this mean I'm perma banned? I've only been banned once on my account before so this is only my second time and why haven't I got any admin notifs telling how long I'll be banned? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Wii U Gamepad Messing Up in a Weird Way
So last night our Wii U gamepad started acting up. Whenever we turn the console on the gamepads touchscreen and buttons don't work, but whenever we start any game the buttons work and the touchscreen is still broken. The only way to turn the console on is with the power button on the console since when we turn it on with the gamepad it turns on but will not bring up the menu screen. Has anyone seen anything like this before and is there a way to fix it without having to send it into Nintendo? Thanks for any and all adive or help in advance.

does my gamepad need another battery?
My Wii u Gamepad will not charge or turn on. Before I send spend over $100 having nintendo peoples fix it, I would like to kno if what this seems to be is just a need of a new battery. I have not damaged the gamepad in any way, it just stopped charging. If it is in need of a new battery, I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me or even link me to what ever kind of screwdriver is needed to take the back of the gamepad off. Thanks

I have a problem getting a DLC from One Piece Unlimited World Red in the eshop. I got the game last year and it had an free DLC of the Day One Edition and I didn't get it on time. Is there anyway to get the content back or is it gone for good?

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars online issues
I've had Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping stars on both systems for a few months, but starting today I can't get online from the Wii U version at all; it just gets stuck on the screen with the tipping explanation indefinately, and the only way out is to turn off the console. It's still working on the 3DS, and no other Wii U games are having any problems. Connection test from System Settings and browser-based speed tests show no issues, and I can watch high-quality videos on the eShop with no hiccups, so I really don't think it's a wireless problem. Anyone else having this experience?

I didn't get my Splatfest prizes! :(
Hi Guys, I participated in last week's North American Splatfest. I played until I reached the top splatfest rank, Dog Queen, then left before the event was over to catch a plane. I just got back yesterday and logged in.. I didn't see any news announcement of the winner and when I talk to Spyke, I don't have any sea snails to give him. Any ideas on how to redeem those prizes? I worked hard for them haha.

Wii U won't restart
My Wii U turns on properly, but will only turn off by unplugging the AC cord. After unplugging the system cannot be turned on for ten minutes before it can be turned on again. That is not the main issue, because I can deal with that. The main issue is that when I try updating the console after the update finishes downloading it just sits with the Wii U logo on screen. I have let it sit there for hours on multiple occations, but I continously get the same result. This problem started after one of my cousins tugged on a wire plugged in and made it drop from about a foot high fall. Is there a solution or should I send it in for repair? I just mainly want this resolved so I can get the new Smash Bros. DLC.

Wii U GamePad audio not in sync with TV
So my Wii U's been like this for a while, and it's sorta bugged me, so I tried messing with my TV's settings and the Wii U's settings but to no avail. My TV is a Sanyo dp58d33 1080p TV.
