I currently am trying to play Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii U. I boot it up regularly and go into a match. However, none of the buttons work properly. Every once in a while the buttons won't work. Say I hold the B button down on the Wii Remote, it will read it as me holding the B button down for 2 seconds, letting it go for half a second then pressing it again for two seconds, letting it go for half a second and so on. If I hold the analog stick on the nunchuck to the left it will detect the stick as being held left for two seconds, then not at all, being held to the left for two seconds, and then not at all. I think you get the point. But it seems like the controller is losing connection with the system or something very similar. Because it will spam buttons in the menu even though I press a button only once. It's terribly difficult to navigate the menu and play the game with this issue. I have tried it with a different controller and the issue persists. I have even replaced the batteries, but the problem still happens. I used a different Wii Sensor bar and that didn't help. I have tried resyncing the controllers, but to no avail. What could possibly be the cause of this issue?
