Hello, I purchased Xenoblade X earlier in December and I've invested hundreds of hours already. I'm currently on my 2nd playthrough, and I discovered a few things. For starters, on my first play through I was unware of Support Missions until after I beat the game. I noticed they ranged from level 1 to 60; however, I was already 60 when I beat the game. Having Support Missions which ranged from all manner of levels were absolutely useless. Then I researched and realied that Support Missions were optional DLC content for Japan. Yet, we got the DLC content added already built in.
But the problem here is much of the DLC Content, like getting H.B.'s Police Skell, is only viable if Support Missions are avaiable. This is because his Skell is Level 30. The only way to unlock the Skell and have it actually be of use to you in the game when it's supposed to appear, which is Level 37 at roughly Chapter 9, you need the Support Missions to grind the Affinity to access the Affinity Mission, Climbing the Ladder. This dawned on me well after I had cleared the game for the 1st time. Now on my 2nd Play Through, I wanted to access Support Missions as I was legitimentaly supposed to, and actually did through a work around I discovered. Yet once I turned off the game they were locked to me once again. This is absolutely absurd.
Why did your localization team lock all of the Support Missions? It would have made sense to trickle feed them like the Time Attack missions, steadily unlocking them one by one as you progress in level. I think there was some sort of oversight or error here. It seems like a legit error that no one has picked up on becuase no one knew they were supposed to have it in the first place.
Please fix this mistake.
