Hi! I've had my Wii U since launch, and up until recently I've loved it and the games. But, starting a few days ago, I noticed that the range at which my gamepad would connect to the Wii U had reduced significantly. I used to be able to take it across the hall separated by a wall or even downstairs, but now it seems to be constantly losing connection even when I'm only 5-6 feet away. And today, it wasn't even working from there. I had to practically stand in front of the system to get it working.
There've been no additional electronics added to the home that would cause interference issues, and I've tried resyncing the gamepad, all to no avail.
I did notice the other thread filled with people who had the same issues as me, but I figured it best to create my own topic, as just one thread might be overlooked, but multiple threads might attract more attention.
Since E3 last year, I've been really excited for Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda U, Starfox U, and Yoshi's Wooly World, but if calling tech support is going to end up with them charging me some exorbitant fee like people were mentioning in the other thread, then Nintendo may have just lost my business. If anyone else has had better results with tech support/customer service lately though, please let me know.
