So, this is odd.
I've had my Wii U for more than a year now, and it's worked fine the whole time (apart from some minor clicking issues that I've already brought up here: ). However, I've always noticed that the console is slightly imbalanced when lying horizontal. Whenever I push on the back right corner, the console rocks a bit. Turns out, it only sits on three nubs. The fourth one, in the back right, is a few millimeters off the tabletop.
(Yes, the tabletop is level. I checked).
For a while, I didn't think much of this, assuming that the back right nub was shorter than the rest. But upon close inspection, I've found that this isn't actually the case. The plastic on my Wii U appears to be warped. It's a bit hard to describe, but it looks like the entire body was twisted ever so slightly.
I have no idea what to make of this, since the console runs just fine. But I've seen others complain about their console wobbling, and it sounds similar to what I'm dealing with. (http://techforums.nintendo.com/message/100672)
If you guys have time, do me a favor. Take a look at your consoles. See if its unbalanced while sitting horizontally. If so, see if you can tell what the cause is. I'd like to know if this is a common defect.
